Largraag is a terrestrial planet and is the closest planet to the star Gallingsol, located in the Alpha Arm of the Idiodide Galaxy. Largraag is owned by the Grand Koykinaxal Empire and is primarily a mining colony.

Physical characteristics

Largraag does not have oceans or seas of lava and therefore has no distinguishable continents, as a result of this, the planet was divided into eight equally sized districts by the Largraag District Act of 92 BGA.

Largraag's surface is covered with lava and rivers and has approximately 170 active volcanoes.

Because of the vast quantities of silicon-rich lava, there are 23 mining facilities on the coasts and river banks of the planet. Most of the mines are staffed by intelligent beings who are permanent residents, primarily from Kragstarking.

History

Pan Galactic War (12 BGA - 1 BGA)

During the Pan Galactic War Largraag was a critical planet for the Grand Koykinaxal Star Fleet as it produced a large amount of silicon for the Koykinaxal Empire and thus it became a major target for the Conservative Alliance. The Battle of Largraag occurred above the planet when 78th, 79th and 82nd divisions of the Grand Star Fleet of the Hargig Republic attempted to invade the planet in 3 BGA. The 78th, 79th and 82nd divisions was forced into a retreat by Koykinax forces after losing the majority of their warships and almost all of their starfighters. The defeated starships were moved to the neighboring planet Kragstarking after the battle so as to not interfere with the supply ships regularly taking silicon from the surface into hyperspace.
