Black hole racing

Black hole racing is a form of spacecraft racing in which various classes of often modified spacecraft compete in races where they pass deliberately close to the event horizon of a black hole located between two space stations located in exact opposite sides of the black hole. The use of hyperdrives is forbidden. Two prizes are awarded, one for the first to reach the finish and one for passing the closest to the event horizon.
The races are managed by the Black Hole Racing Organization (TO DO) and, although legal in all galactic nations, are seen by many people to be "completely insane".
