Bakëvä is an inhabited planet that orbits the Šälaka Binary System and is located in the Beta Arm of the Idiodide Galaxy. Bakëvä is part of the independent Bakëväian Republic that has historically remained neutral throughout all major wars. The Bakëväian solar day and orbital period were chosen to define the Standard Galactic Day and the Standard Galactic Year by the Galactic Senate in 1 BGA after the Pan Galactic War as the peace treaties were signed on Bakëvä as it was the closest neutral inhabited planet to the galactic center.
